Some notions

Hemp has been used by humans for thousands of years.
Its cultivation requires no pesticides or insecticides and even cleans the air because during its growth, it assimilates CO2.
Thus, hemp insulation contains no additives that may harm the environment and is fully recyclable.

Hemp wool is suitable for insulation of walls, roofs, ceilings and walls. It is available in rolls, panel and bulk.
It is easy and safe to install.

  • Automatic adjustment of moisture without heat loss.
  • Does not contain albumin, so insects do not attack.
  • Hemp is rot-proof.
  • Susceptible to fire, hemp wool requires a fire retardant.
  • Good phonic and thermic insulation.

  • Thermal insulation between 0.039 and 0.045W / mK
  • Heat resistant up 5.2 for 20cm thick (knowing that from 5, considering the excellent insulation).
  • Low impact: 40 kWh / m³ (against 1600kWh / m³ for fiberglass).

How much does it cost?

It is about 27 € / m² for a 20cm thick.
