Ock Pop Tok is a Laos based social enterprise working primarily in the field of textiles, handicrafts and design. Meaning “east meets west”, Ock Pop Tok brings the fascinating world of traditional Lao handicrafts alive for visitors. Our beautiful Living Crafts Centre overlooking the Mekong is the heart of Ock Pop Tok. Set in a tropical Mekong garden it serves as a resource centre for learning about textiles, crafts and culture.

With Ock Pop Tok, you will have a chance to LEARN about lao handicraft thanks to a free guided tour of the centre. You will also CREATE your own materials thanks to one of our classes provided in the centre. In the meantime, you will have chance to EAT in the Silk Road Café surrounded by the majesty of Mekong River. If you desire, you can simply STAY in the tranquility of the villa of the centre and live the Ock Pop Tok experience more intensively. At the end, you will have chance to SHOP in our boutique for beautiful handmade and fair trade Lao Textiles.
